Phone Repair Near the West Loop and River West
A short bus ride from the office. Most iPhone screens take about 30 minutes, and you see the price before we start.
If you work near Fulton Market or along Halsted, we are not around the corner, and we won't pretend otherwise. We are on Chicago Ave near Damen. But phone repair in the West Loop does not need to mean a day without your phone either, because the 50 and 66 buses bring you close to the door.
How the trip works
From the West Loop, the Green Line to Damen connects with the 50 Damen, which runs north to Chicago Ave. From Ashland, the 9 Ashland runs north to Chicago Ave, where you transfer to the 66 westbound.
From River West it is simpler: Chicago Ave is one straight line. The 66 runs along it from the Chicago Blue Line station, so phone repair in River West is one bus with no transfer. If your office is near Chicago and Halsted, the 66 stops there too.
Fitting it into a work day
The trick to phone repair in the West Loop is timing. We are open Monday to Friday from 11 to 6, and Saturday from 11 to 3, so a repair fits a lunch break or an end-of-day stop better than an early morning. Three things help.
- Know your model. Open Settings, then General, then About.
- Call first. (773) 741-6682 will confirm the price and that we have your part.
- Back up. If the phone still works, a backup takes minutes and removes the risk.
Most iPhone screens take about 30 minutes, and battery swaps usually happen while you wait. See iPhone repair in River West and the West Loop for models and prices. iPhone repair for River West offices works the same way as for anyone else: walk in, or book a time.
Laptops and data
A work laptop that won't start is a bigger problem than a cracked phone. We work on MacBooks, and our computer repair page covers the rest. If what you need is the files, see our data recovery page. Our listed price for Mac and Windows recovery is $200.
Company phones
Check with your IT team before you repair a company phone. Many employers have their own arrangement, and some manage phones in ways that affect how a repair can be done. If the phone is yours, or your company is happy for you to use an outside shop, we can help.
If your phone is covered by AppleCare or a carrier plan, compare that first. We will tell you if it's the better deal. Parts carry a 90-day warranty, and labor may apply.
Getting here
- Walking

- Bus
- From the West Loop, take the Green Line to Damen and catch the 50 Damen north to Chicago. Or take the 9 Ashland north to Chicago and transfer to the 66 westbound. From River West, take the 66 westbound along Chicago Ave to Wolcott. Check CTA for live times.
- Driving
- From the West Loop, head north on Damen to Chicago Ave and turn right. From River West, head west on Chicago Ave past Ashland. We are on the south side of the street between Wolcott and Damen. Check posted signs before you park.
- Biking

What else can we fix?
What do people ask us?
Can you repair a phone during my lunch break?
Often, yes. Most iPhone screens take about 30 minutes, and battery swaps usually happen while you wait. We open at 11 on weekdays. Allow for the trip each way, and call (773) 741-6682 before you leave so we can confirm we have the part for your model. That saves you a wasted lunch.
Are you close to the West Loop?
We are a short ride away, not next door. From the Damen Green Line station, the 50 Damen bus runs north to Chicago Ave, and from River West the 66 runs straight along Chicago Ave. There may well be options closer to your office, so check our listed prices and decide if the trip makes sense.
Will you see what is on my work phone?
We only touch what we need to do the repair. Most repairs don't need your passcode to complete, and you can ask to enter it yourself when we test. If your employer manages the phone, check with your IT team first, since they may have their own rules about outside repairs.
Can you recover files from a laptop?
Often, yes. Our listed price for Mac and Windows data recovery is $200. Stop using the machine if it is making noises or failing to start, because that can make things worse. If a drive has failed mechanically, a specialist lab is the right call, and we will tell you.
