Phone Repair Near Ukrainian Village
A short walk or bus ride east along Chicago Ave. Older phones and iPads are welcome, and prices are listed online.
The Ukrainian Institute of Modern Art sits at 2320 W Chicago Ave, and our door is half a mile east of it on the same street. For phone repair in Ukrainian Village, that means one straight walk or one bus, with no transfer, from anywhere along Chicago Ave.
Older phones and iPads
This is where we are useful in a way a lot of places are not. Apple's repair estimator stops listing devices as they age, and new phone offers don't help if the phone you have does what you need.
Our price list still covers older iPhones like the X and the SE, and iPads back to the iPad 2. Older iPads are some of the cheapest repairs we do. If a family tablet has a cracked screen but it still plays video and makes calls, a repair can cost far less than replacing it. The iPad repair page has the details.
Before you buy anything, it helps to ask one question. Does the device still do what its owner needs? If so, it is usually worth a quick call to find out the cost.
Keeping the things that matter on the phone
For a lot of families, the value of an old phone is what is on it: photos, voice messages, chats with relatives overseas. So back up first if the phone turns on. If it does not, do not erase it, and do not let anyone restore it until you have looked at your options. Our guide to recovering data from a dead phone covers what to check first.
When we'd tell you not to fix it
Good phone repair in Ukrainian Village includes hearing when not to bother. If your device is covered by AppleCare or a carrier plan, you will hear that from us before you spend anything, and we will send you there if it's cheaper. If an old phone needs more than it is worth, we will say that too.
