iPhone Screen Replacement Cost by Model

iPhone screen replacement cost at Nova Fix runs from $89.99 to $200 for listed models, and most screens take about 30 minutes. Out of coverage, that is often around half of Apple's estimate. With active AppleCare, Apple's fee is lower than anything on our list, so use Apple.

A cracked screen is the one repair where the gap between Apple's price and a local shop's price is widest, and also the one where insurance and AppleCare can flip the answer completely. So the useful question is not just the iPhone screen repair cost. It is which of three prices applies to you.

iPhone screen prices by model

Where a cell says to call, that option is not on our public list yet, so call (773) 741-6682 and we will quote it. That includes iPhone 15, 16, 17, 18 and Duo.

Model Screen OLED or LCD
iPhone 14 Pro Max call for a price $150
iPhone 14 Plus call for a price $140
iPhone 14 call for a price $140
iPhone 13 Pro Max $160 $200
iPhone 13 Pro $159.99 $179.99
iPhone 12 Pro Max $150 $180
iPhone 12 and 12 Pro $149.99 $159.99

iPhone 11 $110 call for a price
iPhone XS Max $129.99 $149.99
iPhone XS, XR and X $119.99 $129.99
iPhone SE (2nd gen) $89.99 call for a price

Older phones, iPads and every other repair are on our full price list.

How that compares with Apple

Apple publishes an out-of-warranty estimate for each model on its iPhone repair page. We read those estimates on November 5, 2026 and compared them with our lowest listed price for the same phone. Apple's page has the exact figures, and they do change, so check it the day you decide.

Model Apple's estimate against our lowest listed price
iPhone 14 Pro Max About two and a half times ours
iPhone 14 About double ours
iPhone 13 Pro Max About double ours
iPhone 12 and 12 Pro Close to double ours
iPhone 11 Close to double ours
iPhone XR Around 65 percent higher
iPhone SE (2nd gen) Around 40 percent higher

That gap is not free money. Apple's price buys an Apple part, Apple's service record and a phone that shows no unknown part notice afterward. Apple also guarantees its service for 90 days or the rest of your warranty, whichever is longer. Our warranty is 90 days on parts, and labor may apply. If you plan to trade the phone in soon, Apple's page says an unknown part may affect trade-in value, so weigh that.

Which of the three prices is yours?

You have active AppleCare. Apple's screen fee was below every screen price on our list when we checked. Use Apple. We mean that.

You pay for carrier or third-party insurance. Read the deductible first. If the deductible is close to our price, a direct repair saves you a claim on your record, and some plans limit how many claims you can make. If the deductible is far lower, claim it.

You have no coverage. This is where an independent repair usually wins on price. On an iPhone 14, the difference between our listed price and Apple's estimate is roughly the price of a second repair.

What actually changes the price

The size of the display matters, which is why Pro Max phones sit at the top of each generation. The display type matters too. Beyond that, the price jumps when the damage is more than a screen: a bent frame, a crushed corner or a dead display under intact glass all change the job. We look before we quote for that reason.

The newest phones are their own case. Apple lists separate outer and inner display repairs for iPhone Duo, and the inner display is the most expensive screen repair on its whole iPhone list. Call us before you assume anything on that model.

After the repair: Face ID, True Tone and the parts notice

Face ID lives in the sensor array at the top of the phone, not in the glass, so a careful swap should leave it alone. Damage from the original drop is a different matter, which is why we test it first. True Tone depends on the phone recognizing its display, so ask us what to expect on your model. On newer iPhones, Settings can show an unknown part message after any independent screen repair. The phone still works, and you should hear that from us before we start, not after.

Is it worth fixing?

Usually yes, if the rest of the phone is healthy. A crack is not just cosmetic: it lets in dust and moisture, and it weakens the phone's water resistance.

It stops making sense when the repair costs more than a working used model sells for, when the phone no longer gets iOS updates, or when the battery and the port are failing too. If the battery is also worn, price both on our iPhone repair page so you see the real total.

If the phone still responds, back it up before you come in. Then see how the job works on our iPhone screen repair page or book a time.

What do people ask us?

How much does it cost to replace an iPhone screen?

At Nova Fix, listed iPhone screens run from $89.99 to $200, depending on the model and the repair option. iPhone 15, 16, 17, 18 and Duo are quoted by phone for now. Call (773) 741-6682 with your model and we will give you a number before any work starts.

How much to fix iPhone screen damage on a 13, 14 or 15?

The iPhone 14 is listed at $140 and the 13 Pro starts at $159.99. The base iPhone 13 and every iPhone 15 are quoted by phone because they are not on our public list yet. Call (773) 741-6682 and you will have the figure in a couple of minutes.

Why do some iPhones have two screen prices?

Many models are listed with two options, Screen and OLED or LCD, and they are different repairs at different prices. Some phones have only one listed option. Show us the phone or describe the damage, and we will tell you which one fits and what it costs before we start.

Does AppleCare make a screen repair cheaper?

Yes, by a lot. On the day we checked, Apple's AppleCare screen fee was lower than every screen price on our list. If your phone is covered, go to Apple. Check coverage in Settings under General, then AppleCare & Warranty. It takes a minute and it can save you real money.

How long does a screen replacement take?

Most iPhone screens take about 30 minutes at our shop on Chicago Ave. You can walk in during open hours or book a time online. A bent frame or a part we have to order can take longer, and we will tell you if that applies to your phone before we begin.
