Galaxy S24 Screen Replacement in Chicago

Three phones share the S24 name, and they don't share a screen. A Samsung S24 screen replacement depends on which one you own, because the 6.2-inch S24, the 6.7-inch S24 Plus and the 6.8-inch S24 Ultra each use their own panel. What's different about each S24

• Galaxy S24. The smallest panel, and usually the lowest cost.
• Galaxy S24+. An S24 Plus screen repair uses a larger, sharper panel than the base phone, so it costs more.
• Galaxy S24 Ultra. A Galaxy S24 Ultra screen replacement costs the most. The panel is the largest of the three, it has an anti-reflective glass, and it works with the S Pen. We test the pen across the whole screen before you leave.

All three are flat, so they're simpler to work on than the curved Ultras that came before.

Is it just the glass?

Samsung's glass and OLED are bonded, so you can't replace only the glass in a normal repair. Check for these before you decide how urgent it is:

• Cracked glass, clean picture. It's usable for now, but the crack lets moisture in, and your water resistance is gone.
• Green, pink or white lines. The OLED is damaged. It may get worse overnight.
• Black patches spreading from a corner. That's OLED bleed. Back up today, because the display can fail completely.
• Black screen, but the phone rings. Your data is probably safe, and a new screen should bring the phone back.

Fingerprint sensor setup

The S24 family reads your fingerprint through the display. After a screen replacement, your saved fingerprints need to be set up again, and we test the sensor before you go. Screen protectors can also affect how well it reads, so choose one made for ultrasonic sensors.

Bring your PIN with you, since we need it to finish testing.

Frame-included or screen-only?

Samsung screens are often sold already bonded to the frame. With a frame-included repair, the new panel arrives on a new frame, which is a good fit when the old frame is bent or the corners are damaged. It can also restore that clean factory look. With a screen-only repair, we separate the old panel and fit a new one to your frame, which suits phones where the frame is still straight.

Not every option is available for every model at every moment. We look at your phone, check which parts we can get, and tell you which one fits and what it costs before you say yes.

Should you go to Samsung?

Your S24 may still be under Samsung Care+, and a covered repair is usually the better deal. Samsung's own service also gives you a factory panel, which matters if you plan to trade in. Check your coverage first.

Without coverage, a Samsung S24 screen replacement is worth doing. The S24 family is promised seven years of updates, so it has plenty of life left, and a new screen costs far less than a replacement phone.

Before you drop it off

Back up to Samsung Cloud or Google, and take off the case. Consider turning on Maintenance mode under Settings, Battery and device care, which hides your personal data while the phone is in someone else's hands. Parts carry our 90-day warranty, and labor may apply. We reseal the phone, but don't count on factory water resistance afterward.
