The iPhone 13 has aged well. It still runs current software, the camera holds up, and for most owners a cracked front is the only real reason to think about moving on. An iPhone 13 screen replacement at our West Town shop usually takes about 30 minutes, and it costs far less than the upgrade your carrier is offering.
The 13 Pro starts at $159.99. The 13 and 13 mini need a quick call for a price. We are at 1927 W Chicago Ave, and most repairs are done the same day.
What each version costs
- iPhone 13 Pro. $159.99 for a screen, $179.99 for an OLED replacement.
- iPhone 13 Pro Max. $160 for a screen, $200 for an OLED replacement.
- iPhone 13 and 13 mini. Call us for a price.
The difference is the panel. Screen is our standard replacement at the lower price. OLED is the step up, a panel of the type your 13 shipped with, and it comes closer to the factory look in color and contrast. If you plan to keep the phone for two more years, the OLED option is usually the better spend. If you plan to sell it soon, Screen often makes more sense. Both carry a 90-day parts warranty, and labor may apply.
Is it worth fixing?
Run this quick sum before you decide. Take the price of the screen. Add a battery replacement if your battery health has dropped below about 85%, because most 13s have reached that age. Compare the total with what you would pay for the next phone you actually want.
If the phone does what you need, repair usually wins. A worn battery and a cracked screen are the two faults that make a phone feel finished, and both are fixable in one visit. If you were ready to move on anyway, we will tell you that too, and we can help you get your data across.
Apple's prices are on its iPhone repair page, so compare your model with the numbers above. A phone this age has usually run out of coverage, which is where a local repair makes the most sense. If you are still paying monthly for AppleCare+, Apple's service fee may beat our price, so check first.
The notch and ProMotion
The iPhone 13 has a smaller notch than the iPhone 12, so the parts at the top of the phone are packed tighter, and the earpiece moved up to the top edge. When the 13 launched, Apple tied Face ID to the original screen, then changed that with a software update. On a current iOS version, an independent screen doesn't switch Face ID off.
The 13 Pro and Pro Max brought ProMotion to the iPhone, so an iPhone 13 Pro screen replacement or iPhone 13 Pro Max screen repair involves one extra question: do you care about 120Hz? If so, tell us, and we will confirm what the part supports before you pay. Standard iPhone 13 and 13 mini screens run at 60Hz, so there's nothing to lose there.
What you'll see afterward
Your iPhone will show a notice after the first unlock, and again after five days, saying it can't verify the display. It also lists the display as Unknown under Settings, General, About, Parts and Service History. The phone works normally. True Tone can usually be carried over from the old screen, and we tell you if yours can't. Read more on our iPhone screen repair page.

Needed my laptop keyboard replaced, but I couldn’t be without my laptop for a few days. I bought the replacement keyboard on Amazon and found him through Yelp. After watching a YouTube video, I quickly realized it was more complicated than I wanted to tackle myself! He replaced the keyboard within a couple of hours, and I picked it up the same day. Straightforward, fast, and clearly knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!

Came in with a iPhone SE 2016 with 64% battery health. Was told at another store that they wouldn’t be able to help. At Nova Fix Alex fixed it for me in under an hour for $60! Super worth it, fast and efficient!! Thank you!

What do people ask us?
How much is an iPhone 13 screen replacement?
The 13 Pro is $159.99 for a screen or $179.99 for an OLED replacement. The 13 Pro Max is $160 or $200. Call us for the iPhone 13 and 13 mini, which are not on our listed prices yet, and we will quote them first.
Is it worth fixing an iPhone 13?
For many people, yes. If the phone runs well and the battery holds up, a new screen costs far less than a new phone. If the battery is also worn, price both repairs together and compare that to upgrading. We will give you the numbers and let you choose.
Will Face ID still work?
It should. We do not replace Face ID parts during a screen repair. Those sit in the notch at the top of the phone and stay in place. We test Face ID when you check in, because the drop may have damaged it before the phone ever reached us.
Can you do it the same day?
Usually. Most iPhone screen repairs take about 30 minutes, and most are finished the same day. Walk in during open hours, or book a time if your day is tight. For the 13 and 13 mini, a quick call confirms the price and that the part is ready.
Will I still get 120Hz on my 13 Pro?
That depends on the part. The 13 Pro and Pro Max have ProMotion, which runs up to 120Hz. Our OLED option is the one to choose if smooth scrolling matters to you. Tell us before we start, and we will confirm what your replacement panel supports and check it with you when the job is done.
