The iPhone 15 Pro Max is a heavy phone with a very large piece of glass on it, and that's a bad combination at waist height. The titanium frame shrugs off a fall better than the glass does. An iPhone 15 Pro Max screen replacement restores that display, and at our shop on Chicago Ave in West Town it's usually a same-day job.
This is a phone worth repairing properly, so before you decide, it's worth knowing what the display does that cheaper panels don't. Call (773) 741-6682 for today's price.
What makes this screen different
Three things separate the Pro Max display from the iPhone 15.
- ProMotion. The screen shifts between 1Hz and 120Hz depending on what's on it. You'll feel it most in scrolling. If a replacement can't do this, the phone feels older, so we fit 120Hz parts.
- Always-On Display. The low refresh rate is what makes that possible. We check it after the repair if you use it.
- Brightness and size. The 6.7-inch OLED peaks at very high brightness outdoors, and the panel is the largest of the 15 family. Size and brightness are why this part costs the most.
We'll test all of it with you before you leave, along with touch across the whole display.
How bad is your iPhone 15 Pro Max cracked screen?
Corner cracks with a clean picture can wait a few days if you need them to. Use a screen protector over the crack and keep the phone dry. Don't wait if you see any of these:
- A green or pink line, or a bright dot that spreads. The OLED has failed and can go black at any time.
- Dead touch zones, especially near the bottom. You could lose the ability to enter your passcode.
- Glass that's lifting, or any gap at the edge. That might mean a swollen battery or a bent frame, and dust and water are getting in.
Back up to iCloud now if any of those apply. A working phone is much easier to back up than a dead one.
Apple or us?
An iPhone 15 Pro Max screen repair at Apple means a factory part with its calibration completed and a clean parts history, and if you still have AppleCare+, the fee is hard to beat. Check your coverage first at checkcoverage.apple.com. On a phone this valuable, a clean history can also help with trade-in, so that's the case for going to Apple.
The case for us is simple. There's no appointment, your phone doesn't leave the building, and you usually have it back the same day. Without coverage, look up Apple's out-of-warranty price on its iPhone repair page and compare it with our quote.
If you plan to keep the phone for years, the parts history won't matter much to you. If you plan to sell in the next few months, it might.
True Tone and Face ID
True Tone stores calibration data in your original screen. We carry that data across when the old panel can still be read, and we tell you beforehand if yours can't. Without it, the phone works normally, but the display no longer adapts its color to room light.
Face ID hardware stays in the phone during a screen swap. We test it when you check in, and again at the end.
The rest of the phone
A drop strong enough to break this screen can also hit the camera bump, the Action button or the USB-C port. We check those too. The back glass on the 15 Pro Max can come off on its own, unlike earlier Pro phones, so a cracked back is a simpler job. See iPhone back glass repair.
Parts carry our 90-day warranty, and labor may apply. We reseal the phone, but treat it as splash-resistant at best from now on.
Call to confirm your part, then walk in or book a time. Have your passcode with you and back up the phone first if you can. See all iPhone screen repair options, compare with the iPhone 15 screen page and read our screen cost guide.

Needed my laptop keyboard replaced, but I couldn’t be without my laptop for a few days. I bought the replacement keyboard on Amazon and found him through Yelp. After watching a YouTube video, I quickly realized it was more complicated than I wanted to tackle myself! He replaced the keyboard within a couple of hours, and I picked it up the same day. Straightforward, fast, and clearly knows what he’s doing. Highly recommend!

Came in with a iPhone SE 2016 with 64% battery health. Was told at another store that they wouldn’t be able to help. At Nova Fix Alex fixed it for me in under an hour for $60! Super worth it, fast and efficient!! Thank you!

What do people ask us?
How much is an iPhone 15 Pro Max screen replacement?
Call us for today's price. The Pro Max uses the largest and most expensive panel of the iPhone 15 family, and it isn't on our listed prices yet. We confirm the cost for the part you choose and give you the number before you come in. It won't change without your approval.
Will my screen still run at 120Hz?
With a 120Hz part, yes. That is what we fit on the Pro Max, and we check smooth scrolling with you before you leave. If a lower cost panel is the only way to meet your budget, we will tell you up front what it can and can't do, so there are no surprises.
Will Face ID still work?
It should, as long as the sensors weren't hit in the drop. They stay with your phone during the swap, and we test them before we start. A big phone can land hard on its top edge, so if Face ID has already failed, a new screen won't fix it. Apple is the only route for that.
Will I get a non-genuine display message?
Yes, expect one. The phone shows a notice after first unlock and again five days later, and it lists the display as Unknown in Parts and Service History. The phone keeps working normally. On a phone worth as much as this one, it's worth asking how the label might affect your trade-in before you decide.
Can you do it the same day?
Usually, once we have the panel. Most screens take about 30 minutes at the bench, and a Pro Max can run a little longer. If we need to order your part, it usually takes 1 to 3 business days. Call before you come and we will check stock for you.
